Chestnut-headed Bee-Eater (Merops leschenaulti). This bird is a rare resident found in forest areas of Haryana (Kalesar Forest and Morni Hills). Called Lalsir Patringa in Hindi, it is the size of a Bulbul. Found in hilly wooded country near streams up to a height of 1000 m. Lays 5-6 pure white roundish oval eggs in nests tunneled in sandy soil on banks of streams.
