Temminck's Stint
(Calidris teminckii) is a
common winter visitor in Haryana, India.
This bird is found in the wetlands.

Identification: Sexes alike; uniform grey- brown upperparts, brownish fore head, whitish outer tail feathers.
Habitat: This bird prefers wetlands with vegetation lakes, pools and riverbanks; generally solitary, occasionally in small flocks, forages on margins, arrives in North India by September end; uncommon but wide spread winter migrant throughout the country.
